Agriness Award for The Best Swine Producer is restricted to users of the following software: Agriness S4, Agriness S2 and Agriness S2 Multiplicadora. The participating farms can be of the following types: PPU (Piglet Production Unit), WPU (Weaning Production Unit) or Farrow to Finish (FF). From January to December, participants send their data on a monthly basis in order to keep the championship information updated and have access to a tool that allows the visualization of the general classification and their own position. As a result, they can compare their farm with those of other producers in the country.
At the end of the championship, the final audit of the data is carried out and the list of the 10 best farms in each participating country is released, along with the consolidated information of the productivity rates.
For the classification of farms, the technical rates evaluated, in order of importance, are: Pigs Weaned/Sow/Year, Non Productive Days, Farrowings/Sow/Year, Weaned Mean and Mean Live Births.
Currently over 1500 farms participate in the Agriness Award for The Best Swine Producer championship totaling more than 1 million sows, all managed through Agriness S4, Agriness S2 or Agriness S2 Multiplier technologies. These farms have different sizes and production systems and they spread throughout Brazil and Argentina.
Award for The Best Swine Producer is held in the form of an annual championship running from January to December every year. Farms are classified based on the Pigs Weaned/Sow/Year rate (PSY) accumulated during the championship period.
At the end of each edition, Agriness promotes a closing ceremony presenting the overall results of the championship and awarding the farms that achieved the best positions.
